Join us on Idöborg!

We’re so excited to invite you to celebrate our wedding with us on Idöborg (Nämdo), a beautiful little island in the Stockholm archipelago!

Our wedding day will be on Saturday, 25 July 2026, and we'd love for you to join us to celebrate with us.

While some guest will be staying on the island, this invitation is for our wedding day only, and we'll make sure everything is planned so you can travel to and from Idöborg on the Saturday.

There will be good food, lots of laughter, a Scottish ceilidh, a bit of Swedish tradition, and maybe even a late-night dip or two.

Our Wedding Traditions

🇬🇧 Our wedding is a mix of Swedish, Scottish, and German traditions:

• Scottish: We’ll have a traditional ceilidh band! Ceilidh dancing is a fun, social group dance where everyone can join — instructions are given on the dance floor.

• Swedish: Guests may give short speeches or performances (no games!) throughout dinner, as long as they are agreed upon in advance with our Toastmasters.

• German: Honoring German tradition, the wedding will finish late with a free bar 😅
